Did you know that you can make your voice heard in regional, national and international institutions (UN, UNESCO, etc.) on issues that are important to you? 

The International Federation of Young Citizens is :

• A youth and international association 
• non-partisan and independent
• Official club for UNESCO 
• 61st observer member of the 2005 UNESCO Convention 
• Active in international and United Nations conventions 
• Specialising in active citizenship and the participation of young people in consultative democratic bodies at regional, national and international level. 

Our vocation is to help young people around the world discover the power and importance of their status as citizens. We set up teams known as ‘ActualiTeams’ which, through training and workshops, become aware of their rights, duties and scope for action as citizens, encouraging them to live out their citizenship in an active and enlightened way. 

• You'll have the chance to meet and exchange ideas with other young people from all over the world, so you can make your voice heard at numerous international conventions (UNESCO, UN and others), on subjects you're passionate about! (environment, oceans, biodiversity, social issues, culture, security, peace, solidarity, etc.)
• You will have the opportunity to be trained in eloquence and advocacy to initiate local projects and proposals for legislation/amendments on the 17 sustainable development goals. 

If you want to get involved and you're under 30, there are 3 options open to you: (In all cases, become a member.) 

1. Get involved! Anyone can set up their own ActualiTeam with a youth council, committed friends, etc... As long as there are at least 4 people and an elected representative between you! So get your act together, and let the adventure begin! 
2. Join an existing ActualiTeam if there's one near you 
3. Join the central office, in one of our departments 

Would you like to get involved, but you're over 30? Become a member as a sponsor of the association 

Whether you're a teacher, an educator or a committed volunteer, help your young people build their own ActualiTeam and spread the word about active citizenship!
